Tom is a catalyst for growth who combines a unique blend of marketing, general management, technology and strategy consulting experience with an entrepreneurial passion for creating new business models. He founded TB Innovative—a strategy, innovation and business transformation firm–to help companies drive sustainable growth by leveraging emerging technologies. He created businesses in the U.S. and around the globe and has a long history of successfully driving growth initiatives within large corporations. He established and built international business ventures between Janssen Pharmaceuticals and Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products, launched more than 25 brands in five different countries, and served on the Board of Directors of multiple international business units. As Head of Global Information Technology and Digital Marketing for GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare, Tom transformed IT from a cost center to a profit center by leveraging technology to drive business growth. Tom was co-founder and CEO of OmniChoice—an Internet business that developed patented decision support software (artificial intelligence) and was acquired by Call Vision (now Verisign). He also worked as VP of Sales and Marketing for Intermedia—an Internet agency. Tom earned a B.A. in Economics from Duke University and an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management and Marketing from the Wharton School of Business. He served as an Adjunct Professor teaching venture initiation and entrepreneurial marketing at Wharton’s Small Business Development Center and Villanova’s School of Business. In his spare time, Tom enjoys spending time with his wife and four kids who remind him everyday of the possibilities of what can be.
